Living Yoga NH's Teacher Training Program is designed for students
who are interested in deepening their practice, exploring their
interest in teaching or for those who know they want to teach yoga.
It is important to know that taking part in our program does not
mean you are working toward a teaching position at the studio.
If you are interested in teaching at Living Yoga, we will explore,
over time, the appropriateness of that based on where a
teacher-in-training is in their training, the needs of the Living
Yoga Community and the schedule. It is our hope that students
of yoga will continue to expand their knowledge of yoga and share it
with people in their day-to-day lives (living yoga "off the mat")
and if they desire, to formally teach others....
bringing yoga to
more people... that's the ultimate vision of our program.

Session V registration (May/June) is now open.
Once the current group secures
their slot in the group, we will know if there are any openings.
(LYTT/DYP sessions are two months each, so if/when someone
complete their hours or leaves the program, there would be an
opening. Our format is such that you can enter the program at
any point during the 18 months. (If you have questions, call

Testimonial from a graduate of the program:
Exploring the path of yoga thru the Living Yoga Teacher
Training/Develop Your Practice program has been tremendous. I have
to admit, I wasn't sure why I was drawn to it initially. I think it
was a question for me more than anything. What IS this mysterious
magic that happens through the practice of yoga? I am very happy to
say that I still don't know the answer to the question. In the last
year and a half, I've seen that living this practice called yoga is
an answer of sorts, an answer which never concludes or completes
something the way you might initially expect. Great! If you have
this same sense of sincere curiosity about yoga, I invite you to
consider joining the group, to connect with others who will share
this interest with you, to actively explore this wonderful
tradition, and perhaps to even hear the call to teach someday!
The sessions and intensives will
include hours toward:
- techniques
(asana,
pranayama, meditation, chanting, and more)
- teaching
methodology
(demonstration, observation,
assisting/correcting, instructing and more)
- anatomy & physiology
(including
energetic anatomy and physiology - chakras, nadis)
- yoga philosophy
(including
readings/discussions related to Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita)
- ethics of teaching
- practicum
(practice teaching, feedback, observing others teach, providing
feedback, assisting while others teach)
