Intro to
Ashtanga 6-week sessions
THURSDAYS 7:30-8:45pm, with Maureen
May 29th - June 19th
4-week sessions, 75-minute classes: $40 per session
For students new to
the practice as well as for students who want a more in-depth knowledge
of the Primary Series.
We will spend the first 15 minutes of each class focusing on 4-5
postures and then we will lead students through a beginner class, which
will include the postures of the week.
We will focus on:

breaking down Sun Salutation A & B
- observing
postures for proper alignment
- modifications
for postures
- the
Ujjayi (victorious) breath
- bandhas (locks)

Intro to
Anusara-Inspired Yoga
TUESDAYS

Session I: 1/8 – 2/12
Session II: 2/26-4/8 (no class on 3/18)
6 week sessions, 75 minute classes: $60 per session ($55 for
monthly members)

Anusara Yoga is a modern hatha yoga system which unifies
a life-affirming Tantric philosophy* with Universal Principles of
Alignment which are applied to every asana/pose. This 6-week series will
introduce new and experienced students to this method. The information
can then be applied to all the major classes of yoga poses, benefiting
your overall yoga practice.
(*Tantra teaches that each person is a unique expression
of the universal energy, and that everything in our lives can be
experienced playfully, with awareness and a sense of sacredness.)
