"Yoga
is at once, an art, a science and a philosophy"
For Beth, yoga is about experiencing the philosophy of yoga in the
physical reality of the body, about transforming the meta-physical
into the physical. Her teaching and knowledge of the body is
informed by her study and work as a Rolfer, Rolf Movement Teacher
and Massage Therapist.
Beth believes, Rolfing, like yoga, is about personal evolution, the
work of reshaping bodies, re-educating movement and releasing
unconscious patterns. In her teaching, she guides her students in
cultivating strong, supple bodies, focused minds and a connection to
something greater than the self.
Beth has been exploring the yoga tradition for more than a decade
and has trained as a Traditional Ashtanga Yoga teacher with Beryl
Bender Birch and David Swenson.
