Susan began practicing yoga 7 years ago and from her first class she
hoped to teach so she could grow in her own practice and share yoga
with others. Susan believes that the practice of yoga is a gift we
can embrace that allows us to be our best selves in all that we do.
Susan's class follows a vinyasa style, a flow of yoga postures
linking breath and movement that builds healing heat and opens the
body and mind. Susan's classes offer a retreat where students can
quiet their minds and open their hearts, stretch and strengthen, and
find balance in their bodies and lives. Susan invites students to
honor themselves, stay present and connected in the breath, and give
themselves the gift of yoga!
Susan has completed teacher training intensives with Baron Baptiste,
Mimi Loureiro and Tom Sherman. She has expanded her practice
through workshops and trainings with a variety of yoga teachers and
feels she has learned the most from the students who attend her
classes, for which she is truly grateful. Susan has also enjoyed
introducing yoga to children and teens through classes at the
Concord Fitness Center and Girls Inc. in Concord, as well as to her
two young-yogi's (Maura & Andrew) at home.
